Connect your phone

  1. Use this phone’s own identifier and private Server URL below. Tailscale is not required.
  2. Install Traccar Client (the recording app).
  3. Set these two values in Traccar Client:
  1. Allow Always location access and Precise Location in iPhone Settings.
  2. Start with High accuracy, 50-meter distance, and Offline buffering enabled and Stationary heartbeat: 60 seconds, where available.
  3. Turn on the tracking service. Take a short drive, stop for five minutes, then refresh this dashboard.

Tracking runs in the native app, even with this page closed. Buffered locations upload when the phone reconnects. Check the first real drive against your odometer.
